William (Bill) Tom is founder and President of infoQuest Management Consulting Corporation. Bill has over 30 years experience helping companies thrive. He has successfully owned or led as CEO professional services, distribution, and manufacturing businesses.His experiences include successful turnarounds reinventing the corporate culture and infrastructure of business units resulting in income loss to profitability within 6 months, but more importantly, empowering eployees and leadership to higher levels of satisfaction and productivity. He has also led conversions in ERP implementation, JIT/lean manufacturing, ISO qualification, global supply chain optimization and setup, and the strategic deployment of functional outsourcing. In executive search, the positions he places usually are roles he has either functioned in or managed in his career thereby truly bringing the hiring executives perspective.
Mr. Tom is also a Certified Facilitator for The Alternative Board TAB, an international organization that provides advisory boards for privately held companies. He facilitates the board meetings and provides executive coaching for the CEO. His Boards include companies from all industries. In addition, he has affinity Boards including Boards comprised of faith-based business owners. Ms. Nakayama has sixteen years of management consulting, financial analysis, and executive administration experience with Ernst & Young within their Automotive Group. Her specialty was in change management, helping Fortune 500 firms in the computer, automotive, and financial services industries evolve their organization in the midst of significant workplace upheaval such as merging of divisions, the integration of new ERP systems, and corporate culture changes.
In addition, she has experience counseling individuals and families in the area of marriage and family therapy. She is certified in Myers-Briggs personality assessment including training of organizations.
Her qualifications include a MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and a BS in Business Systems from Cal State Los Angeles.
